NERO Race Suit
The NERO Race Suit is a wind tunnel proven skinsuit built for racing, fast training and long road rides.
It uses a supportive mid-weight upper body fabric, ribbed aero sleeves, premium pre-dyed blue lycra on the legs, and apro-level VEONINSERT chamois.
KEY FEATURES
Wind Tunnel Validated
The NERO Race Suit has been independently tested in the wind tunnel against the Rule 28 Neo Suit (more on that below). It is designed for riders who want a close, compressive fit and proven aerodynamic performance.
Compressive Upper Body
The mid-weight upper body fabric provides a supportive, locked-in feel. It is more compressive than the NERO Summer Suit and is designed to sit smoothly against the body at speed.
Proven VEONINSERT Chamois
Pro-level high-density chamois from VEONINSERT. We've used this chamois manufacturer in all our skinsuits since 2021 after group testing a range of chamois, including ones from Elastic Interface. This was the most comfortable and has been race proven in 6+ hour events, in the suit worn by Chris to win the Grafton to Inverell twice and Peaks Challenge.
Storage Options
The rear has three standard pockets plus an internal pocket behind the neck designed specifically to hold a sugar flask for fuelling.
Ribbed Aero Sleeves
The sleeves use a pro-level ribbed aero fabric designed to reduce drag and proven to be fast in wind tunnel testing.
Premium Blue Lycra
The legs use soft, high-quality pre-dyed blue lycra. It feels better against the skin and the colour won’t change when the fabric is stretched.
Speed-Focused Construction
The suit uses a close-fitting panel layout, long sleeves and long legs to create a smooth, performance-focused fit on the bike.
Wide Leg Grippers
Wide, laser-cut leg bands with custom NERO silicone grippers help keep the suit securely in place.
WIND TUNNEL DATA
We tested this suit against the Rule 28 Neo Suit. The 2026 NERO is faster than the Rule 28 Neo with 3/4 length sleeves. It is only 4w to 5w slower than the Rule 28 Neo Suit & 'Aero Bra' combination at speeds of 50 and 60 kmh.
SIZING GUIDE
The fit is race-tight with slightly longer sleeves and legs and snug arm panels. It's intended to have you "squeeze" into it on the first wear.
If you are between sizes it's a better bet to go the larger size, especially if you have broader shoulders or a bigger upper body for your height.
